2014 Guest of Honor
Craig Johnson

Guest of Honor Craig Johnson is the New York Times bestselling author of ten mystery novels featuring Absaroka County, Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire. His series about the book-loving, straight-talking former Marine turned lawman inspired the acclaimed A&E drama, Longmire, renewed for its third season.

The late Robert B. Parker said, “Johnson knows the territory, both fictive and geographical, and he tells us about it in prose that crackles,” and author Dana Stabenow wrote on her blog, “The dialogue in these novels is so good you feel privileged to eavesdrop in, sort of John Wayne channeling Samuel Johnson, only better read and more articulate.”
